Rural Iowa A.R.E.S. provides supplemental / backup radio communications to District 2 East, Iowa ARES. Emphasis will be placed on providing services to local governments and public service agencies that do not have backup systems in the event of a natural or man-made disasters and to provide safety related communications for public events.
